Self-Proving Assets (SPA) Based on Physical Entropy: Construction of a Decentralized Transaction System via Irreversible Material Encoding Independent of Centralized Ledgers
Abstract
This paper proposes Self-Proving Assets (SPA), where ownership and transaction history are physically encoded into material carriers such as DNA or isotopic structures, eliminating reliance on centralized ledgers. By leveraging thermodynamic irreversibility, SPA ensures tamper resistance through physical energy barriers, enabling trustless transactions secured by physical laws rather than institutional trust.
