Abstract

The Paradox of Humanity is a meditation on distance, fracture, and the fragile ways we try to hold the divine. It follows the arc of a God who loved us, a humanity that could not feel that love clearly, and a fire that once burned pure before being buried under fear, ego, and the structures we built around our forgetting. Moving through the eras before Christ, during Christ, and after Christ, the piece traces how paradox shaped both God’s longing and our inability to receive it. Written as a companion to The Paradox of Trinity, this work continues the exploration of divine tension and human inheritance. This is not doctrine. It is an attempt to name the ache between what was given and what we could hold, and to understand why the flame that once set the world ablaze now flickers in the shadows of our sanctuaries.
