Abstract

This project outlines an integrated Automatic function for cattle washing, an Automatic function for feeding, andconvenienceforbothfarmproductivityandanimalwelfare. This project objectives is to enhance productivity by providing analternativetotraditionalcattlefarmingbestpracticesthatare deemed inefficient and laborious. The Automatic Feeders and Automated Washers includes, but are not limited to the following: an Automatic Feeder system utilizing an Arduino microcontroller to convert environmental signals emitted from sensorsanddispensingunitstodispenseprecisefeedtooptimize feeding time while simultaneously minimizing waste and increasing nutritional value. The second Automated Function wouldincludeanAutomaticWashingsystemwhereanArduino will control a programmed washing pattern with sensors that can detect the presence of cattle which minimizes water consumption while providing a thorough wash. This also will limitthespreadingofinfectionsandimprovehygienicpractices. Both Automatic Feeders and Automatic Washers, represent a modern and sustainable product that automates livestock processes. This integrated system also looks to reduce labor, handle daily operations and maximize cost while consistently maintaining hygiene/health requirements for livestock. In summary, this project displays innovative, responsible live stock management for enhanced productivity that increases the overall efficiency of cattle farming.
