On the Evolution of Human Cognitive Dimensions A Five-Stage Model from Divine Order to Spiritual Freedom
Abstract
Abstract:This paper delineates the historical and psychological progression of human cognition through five distinct dimensions. By mapping the evolution of world-recognition onto the Fibonacci sequence (2, 3, 5, 8, 13), it defines the journey from primordial divine dependency to absolute spiritual liberation. This model provides a universal framework for understanding how the "Awakened One" (覺者) transcends scientific barriers and social constraints to achieve a 13-dimensional holographic awareness. I. The First Dimension: Divine Creation (Fibonacci: 2) Core Concept: God Creates the World. Cognitive State: Primordial Monism. The world is understood as a singular divine manifestation. The Binary: The foundational relationship between the Creator and the Created. Representative Stage: The era of theologians and idealist philosophers where truth is a revealed "given." II. The Second Dimension: The Separation of Authorities (Fibonacci: 3) Core Concept: "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's." Cognitive State: Rational Dichotomy. The recognition of distinct realms of power and spirit. The Triad: The emergence of a "Third Space" (Law/Contract) that governs the boundary between the sacred and the secular. Representative Stage: The birth of Game Theory and the limitation of power (e.g., the Magna Carta). III. The Third Dimension: The Trinity and Subjective Awakening (Fibonacci: 5) Core Concept: The Trinity as an internal metaphor. Cognitive State: Preliminary Personal Awakening. The Synthesis: The interaction between the Individual’s Internal Complexity (3) and the World’s External Complexity (5). Representative Stage: The "Franklinian" turn—where the individual balances mind, body, and spirit to become a self-governing citizen of the universe. IV. The Fourth Dimension: The Birth of Science (Fibonacci: 8) Core Concept: The Quest for Spatial Freedom. Cognitive State: Empirical Refinement. Humans refuse to be bound by the land or by superstition. The Liberation: Using scientific laws to demystify nature. Mastery over the physical "8-dimensional" clockwork universe. Representative Stage: The Newtonian era—the mastery of physics and external natural laws as a means to secure the "Right to Exist." V. The Fifth Dimension: The Freedom of Spirit (Fibonacci: 13) Core Concept: "Everyone is a Buddha." Cognitive State: Absolute Totality. Cognition reaches the 13th Dimension. The Transcendence: Shattering the "Barrier of Ignorance" (Avidya). The individual realizes that the self and the universe are a holographic whole. Representative Stage: The "Jungian" integration—where the mastered laws of the 4th dimension are subsumed into the absolute spiritual liberty of the 5th. Conclusion: The Path of the Awakened The evolution of human cognition is the "historical process" of breaking through ignorance. To reach the state of an "Awakened One," an individual must navigate these five stages, moving from the dependency of the 1st dimension through the scientific mastery of the 4th, finally achieving the spiritual sovereignty of the 5th.
