Code for "A Continuous Intensification Rate Index for Tropical Cyclones Using Vortex-Scale Machine Learning"
Abstract
This repository contains all custom computer code used to generate the results central to the manuscript submitted to Nature Communications (2026). The code implements Random Forest, SVR, and ANN models for deriving a continuous intensification rate index for tropical cyclones using vortex-scale features. Full README and installation instructions are included inside the ZIP.
