Abstract

This dataset contains the river flood risk assessment for İzmir Province developed under the CLIMAAX project. This dataset contains the final river flood risk assessment outputs for İzmir Province. Included Data Building Risk Building-level water depth Building damage layers (GeoPackage) Damage summaries per return period Population Risk Exposed population rasters Displaced population rasters Infrastructure Risk Flood depth intersected with schools and hospitals Critical infrastructure impact maps Return Periods 10, 50, 100, 500 years(Baseline and RCP 8.5 scenarios) Output Units Water depth: meters Population: number of persons Economic damage: derived from damage curves File Contetns : 01_River_Flooding_Riskd_Assessment.ipynbJupyter Notebook containing the river flood risk assessment workflow, integrating hazard, exposure, and vulnerability to estimate impacts and damages. DamageBuildings.zipBuilding-level economic damage layers derived from flood depth and depth–damage functions for multiple return periods. ExposePopulation.zipRaster layers of exposed and displaced population calculated by intersecting flood depth with population distribution data. WaterDepthBuildings.zipBuilding-level water depth layers obtained by intersecting flood hazard rasters with building footprints. exposure_data.zipExposure layers used in the risk assessment, including building footprints, population raster, and critical infrastructure datasets. Plots.zipFigures and visual outputs generated from the river flood risk assessment, including damage maps, population impact maps, and infrastructure impact visualisations.
