D4.4 Improvements of the CFB-CaL system integrated with CPU: sensitivity analysis of main CaL parameters
Abstract
Deliverable D4.4 focuses on analysing different configurations of the CFB-CaL system integrated with CPU. Process modelling activities were conducted, exploring several process improvement options and varying key operating parameters, with the aim of increasing CO2 capture rates, enhancing energy efficiency, and reducing cost of CO2 avoided. Heat and mass balances, as well as economic KPIs, were calculated and compared to assess the performance of the various configurations
