Results from the Pre-Registered Statistical Evaluation of Gradient-Determined Orb Behavior Under the SP3 Framework
Abstract
This report presents the results of the pre-registered statistical evaluation outlined inBeecham (2026) [Pre-Registered Statistical Evaluation of Gradient-Determined OrbBehavior Under the SP3 Framework, Zenodo, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18742763]. The SpacePhase (SP3) framework hypothesizes that orb-like aerial phenomena exhibit gradientdetermined behaviors, specifically: (1) hovering or moving within a confined space for ≥5seconds, (2) ≥2 orbs in coordinated formation, and (3) sustained directional movement byat least one orb. Using conservative inclusion criteria for orb cases sourced from websearches and X (Twitter) ecosystem analysis, a sample of 15 qualifying cases wasevaluated. All 15 cases (100%, 95% Clopper-Pearson CI: 78.2%–100%) satisfied at leastone predicted behavior, exceeding the pre-registered threshold of 80%. A one-sidedbinomial test rejected the null hypothesis (p ≤ 0.8) with p-value ≈ 0.035. These findingsprovide preliminary support for the SP3 framework's predictions without falsification.
