Results from the Pre-registered Survey of Luminous Orb Phenomena Across Scales: Empirical Analysis Under the SP3 Framework
Abstract
This paper presents the results of a statistical survey conducted on luminous orbphenomena, spanning galactic to atmospheric scales, following the pre-registeredprotocol outlined in Beecham (2026). Utilizing the Space-Phase (SP3) framework, whichposits that luminous structures arise from coherence corridors in a conditionable spacephase substrate, we evaluate reports for structural coherence, persistence beyondexpected diffusion, and scale-independent morphological symmetry. Data were sourcedfrom scientific literature, eyewitness surveys, and recent social media reports. Key findingsinclude the Fermi Bubbles as a galactic-scale example exhibiting high symmetry andpersistence, ball lightning as atmospheric plasma orbs with brief coherence, andcontemporary UFO-like orbs showing color-shifting and rotational behaviors consistentwith SP3 predictions. Results support falsifiable testing of SP3, with 70% of analyzed casesdemonstrating anomalous persistence. These findings provide preliminary support for theSP3 framework's predictions without falsification.
