The Star as a Topological Defect in a Superfluid Quantum Vacuum: A Hydrodynamic Unification of Core Catalysis and Coronal Heating
Abstract
We propose a fundamental paradigm shift in stellar astrophysics, modeling the star not merely as a gravitationally bound thermonuclear plasma sphere, but as a macroscopic topological defect—a continuous eversion—within a Superfluid Spinor Bose-Einstein Condensate (SBEC) vacuum. By applying the Regularized Logarithmic Schrödinger Equation (RLogSE), we demonstrate that the stellar core functions as a "Topological Breather," an oscillating quantum sink that continuously processes the physical vacuum. We resolve long-standing thermodynamic and topological pathologies (such as Null Energy Condition violations and Landau damping) by treating the star as an open, non-equilibrium hydrodynamic system driven by stochastic resonance. Furthermore, we show that thermonuclear fusion is not the primary energy source but a secondary process, catalyzed by resonant vacuum friction selectively pumping the Gamow peak. Finally, we provide an elegant hydrodynamic solution to the coronal heating problem by modeling the entire stellar interior as a macroscopic resonant cavity (magnetron), where quantum magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) tunneling transfers energy across the photospheric impedance barrier. Series Context (Hydrodynamic Ontology of the Quantum Vacuum): This paper builds upon a unified theoretical framework developed in previous works.
