HUBUNGAN LITERASI DIGITAL DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI PADA SISWA SMKN 1 SAMARINDA
Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between digital literacy and achievement motivation among students at SMKN 1 Samarinda. Digital literacy encompasses the skills to access, evaluate, and utilize digital information effectively, while achievement motivation refers to students' internal drive to achieve academic success. This study used a quantitative approach with relational methods. The sample consisted of 202 students randomly selected from a population of 1,251 students using a convenience sampling technique. The instruments used were a digital literacy scale and an achievement motivation scale. Validity and reliability tests showed that both instruments were valid and reliable. Data analysis used the Spearman test because the normality test results indicated the data were not normally distributed. The results of the analysis show a significant relationship between digital literacy and achievement motivation (r = 0.409; p < 0.05). This means that the higher a student's digital literacy, the higher their motivation to achieve. This finding demonstrates the importance of strengthening digital literacy in improving students' enthusiasm for learning and academic achievement in the digital era.
