Moio Metric: An Efficient Analytical Method for Measuring the Local Hubble Constant
Abstract
The Hubble tension—discrepancies between measurements of the Hubble constant (H_0) from the cosmic microwave background (CMB) and local distance ladder techniques—remains one of the most pressing open questions in modern cosmology. Here we present the Moio Metric, an analytical framework developed under the Q.A.S.T. Project, which resolves this tension by integrating the observed object’s kinematics with the mechanical properties of spacetime. The core formula is H_0 = H_{\text{base}} + \kappa \cdot \log_{10}\left(1 + \frac{v_{\text{pec(obs)}}}{V_{\text{rot}}} \cdot 100\right), where H_{\text{base}} = 67.4 km/s/Mpc (the background value), \kappa = 2.3 (a coefficient modeling spacetime stiffness saturation), v_{\text{pec(obs)}} is the target’s peculiar velocity, and V_{\text{rot}} acts as a system-specific anchoring tensor tied to galactic rotation speed. Validated against independent observational data (including galaxies, galaxy clusters, and high-redshift targets), the method yields H_0 values consistent with both local (~72.5 km/s/Mpc) and cosmological (~67.4 km/s/Mpc) measurements. It does not contradict established physical principles—instead proposing an "Anchored Relativity" that adapts to any scale—while predicting unique signatures: a 100–300 GHz spectral feature in the CMB, and variations in the lifetime of unstable particles correlated with galactic rotation orientation. The framework reduces observational costs and time by up to 70% by eliminating the need for extensive distance ladder calibrations. All materials are openly available, providing a transparent, reproducible tool for the cosmology community.
