A Symmetric, Computable Grid Framework for Everettian Branching in Discretized Spacetime — Extended Preprint Version
Abstract
This extended preprint develops a unified geometric framework for Everettian branching based on discretized spacetime and a nonlocal grid dimension. Each Everett branch is modeled as a finite-information three-dimensional matrix defined at the Planck scale, consistent with holographic entropy bounds and quantum-gravity expectations. A new structural element—the grid dimension—embeds all branches in a symmetric, relational, and non-metric medium that enables adjacency without signaling. In this setting, entanglement correlations arise from adjacency relations in grid space, while curvature fields belonging to different branches become comparable through their shared embedding. Relativistic behavior emerges naturally from a Planck-step update rule in which light advances one Planck length per Planck time. The preprint also introduces a discrete representation of particle motion and reference-frame matrices, showing how acceleration, inertial structure, and gravitational curvature can be visualized within the grid framework without invoking cross-branch interactions. The resulting ontology treats the multiverse as a computable tensor of discretized spacetimes, restoring symmetry, resolving the Everett asymmetry problem, and providing a coherent geometric foundation for nonlocality, discreteness, and comparability across branches. This extended version includes additional motivations, interpretational clarifications, and explanatory figures beyond the accompanying journal submission.
