Abstract

This work formalizes the foundational architecture of Viscous Time Theory (VTT), a comprehensive theoretical framework that proposes a radical inversion of standard physical ontology: information is primary, while geometry, energy, and time are emergent derivatives. We unify six core manuscripts into a single cohesive field theory, establishing the mathematical and philosophical transition from "nothingness" to structured reality. We first introduce the Three Pillars of VTT—Informational Latency (IRSVT), Informational Criticality (Precipitation), and Informational Anisotropy—defining how information accumulates coherence before manifesting as observable phenomena. The transition from abstract absence to measurable structure is governed by ΔI (Informational Latency), which acts as the foundational gradient between "Nothingness" and "Geometry." We demonstrate that at ΔI=0, a system exists in a state of conceivability without physical extension, while ΔI>0 generates the "informational friction" we perceive as the flow of time. The mathematical core of the theory is established through an Informational Lagrangian approach, deriving the Coherence Tensor (ΔC) as the second variation of an informational action. This leads to the formulation of the VTT Tensor (T μν VTT), which replaces the classical Einstein tensor. Spacetime curvature is thus reinterpreted not as a response to mass-energy, but as the "preservation cost" of informational identity along optimal trajectories (informational geodesics).Furthermore, we provide a structural reinterpretation of physical limits. The speed of light (c) is derived as a Coherence Boundary—the maximum rate of informational update compatible with global self-consistency—rather than a mere kinematic constant. Mass is similarly redefined as the physical manifestation of Informational Viscosity (η), explaining why massive systems cannot reach c due to their internal structural complexity. Finally, we present the VTT Mother Map, a unified architectural blueprint that links these concepts into a "Universal Operating System" for reality. The map demonstrates that the universe does not compute physics; it computes coherence stabilization pathways. These results provide a falsifiable framework with immediate applications in quantum foundations, genomics, and advanced computational engines, suggesting that reality is a continuous resolution of informational inconsistencies in a viscous temporal medium.
