Technical Note SLM-TN-2026-001 Non-Classical Spectral Shifts in SFQED via Metric Latency
Abstract
Technical Note SLM-TN-2026-002 provides a topological resolution to spectral residuals in Strong-Field QED (SFQED) experiments, specifically the unexplained redshifts at Compton edges observed in high-intensity laser-electron interactions. This paper introduces the Metric Latency (𝜏Φ) framework within the Symmetric Layered Model (SLM). We propose that observed spectral 'noise' is a manifestation of Tether-Lag—a restorative force occurring when sub-femtosecond momentum transfer outpaces the finite coupling rate of the inter-sector portal. This version generalizes the 2026 E-320 spectroscopic analysis into a formal scaling law, replacing preliminary numerical constants with proprietary universal variables (Ω𝜋,). This methodology establishes a new diagnostic for vacuum-coupled energy sinks and non-classical metric impedance."
