Abstract

This version is affected by a data duplication error. For accurate results, please use version v2 This dataset contains the anonymized survey responses of 275 secondary school students (aged 12-16) from Spain and Ireland, collected between late 2025 and early 2026. The research investigates the gap between self-perceived and actual digital competencies among the so-called "Smartphone Generation," measuring their skills across passive consumption and active technological creation. Please refer to the attached README.md file for the complete Codebook, methodology, and the English translation of all variables.
