Abstract

Audit note. This paper predates the framework's methodology audit of 2026-05-30. The baryon sector is now characterised at §15 item 142 as ``De Rújula--Georgi--Glashow constituent quark model in substrate clothing'' --- one mass per heavy quark flavour as Target B, same wins (equal-spacing parameter-free across J = 3/2 rows) and same bounded limitations (|\psi(0)|^2 non-universality saturating at \sim\!25\% by charm scale) as the standard constituent-quark-model treatment. The framing of baryon composites as single-error states of the [8,4,4] code (this paper's central content) survives as structural reformulation; the implied ``zero-parameter'' framing of any downstream mass predictions should be read in the post-audit sense (one parameter per heavy quark flavour). See ANCHOR §15 item 142 for the full sector-scope statement. We extend the circlette lattice model to composite particles. The XOR composite of any colour-neutral baryon is an invalid codeword at Hamming distance 1 from a lepton; beta decay is the lattice correcting this error via the weak CNOT gate. We prove a zero-sum identity: the bitwise XOR of all particles in beta decay vanishes identically, sector by sector. Three predictions follow: (i) the W- boson is the literal XOR differential d+u=00000100; (ii) the neutrino is a Majorana fermion; (iii) proton stability follows from the CNOT gate's inability to flip its own control bit. 2026-06-20 legacy canon revision: This is a canon-reconciled legacy version. Early part-series matter note; needs canon alignment The paper retains its historical derivation trail but carries a 2026-06-20 canon revision note identifying current status and superseded claims.
