Aperiodic Spatial Forcing Reduces Mode Locking in a Forced Kuramoto Network
Abstract
Paper 11 in The Geometry of the Critical Line programme. Computational study showing that deterministic aperiodic spatial phase offsets suppress synchronization in forced oscillator networks by 80–100 percentage points, while temporal phase-walking re-enables lock-in via sweep-induced capture. The effect is driven by spatial aperiodicity broadly, not by primes specifically.
