The Agent Brain: A Neuroscience-Inspired Framework for Understanding AI Agent Architecture
Abstract
This paper proposes The Agent Brain, a systematic mapping between 14 key components of modern AI agents and their functional analogs in human neuroanatomy. From working memory (prefrontal cortex) to context compaction (sleep consolidation), each mapping reveals how convergent design pressures produce structurally analogous solutions.
