On the Origin of the z ? 6 Little Red Dots Discovered by JWST
Abstract
JWST has uncovered a population of compact "Little Red Dots" (LRDs) at z ? 3, characterised by red rest-frame optical colours and blue rest-frame UV slopes. Their physical nature remains uncertain, but many are suspected to host obscured AGN, making them valuable probes of early SMBH growth and evolution.
