Unravelling Changing-Look AGN
Abstract
Accretion discs around supermassive black holes are mostly considered as equilibrium systems. The Changing-Look (CLAGN) phenomenon, however, points to state changes on remarkably short time scales and may result from initially small variations around a state boundary. Thus there is an opportunity to study the physics of alternative states of AGN discs in detail. Current CLAGN data sets are sparse, but the all-sky coverage of LSST
