Multiplicative polytope in SU(3) and partial bounds for b_min(a, c)
Abstract
This note develops the Agnihotri-Woodward multiplicative polytope framework for SU(3) in order to analyse b_min(a, c) off the diagonal. We prove that the admissible polytope of product spectra is a triangle with three explicit vertices (R42-T1), and that two of the three vertices satisfy a lower bound matching the conjectured global value (R42-T2). The third vertex -corresponding to the identity-permutation functional- constitutes the sole remaining irreducible obstacle. The note closes with precise statements of the two open conjectures (R42-C1, R42-C2).
