Cloud Bills Carry the Same Economic Impact as Oil Prices
Abstract
Viorazu. 理論(経済的モデルコラプス) Millions of Japanese citizens continuously buy US equities through NISA, creating persistent yen-selling pressure. At the same time, Japan's government administration, corporations, and banks depend on USD-denominated foreign cloud services for their core systems, so as the yen weakens, costs swell and the economy deteriorates. When these two dynamics interlock, they form a self-reinforcing yen depreciation loop, and beyond a certain threshold, Japan's economy collapses. If Japan collapses, the damage cascades globally through US Treasury sell-offs, ICC (Japan is the largest contributor at 15.9%), ADB, ODA, and developing-nation infrastructure. Countermeasures include negotiating yen-denominated government cloud contracts, expanding domestic investment options within NISA, and building domestic cloud infrastructure. Yen-denominated billing merely shifts forex risk and does not solve the fundamental problem. Historically, bubbles form when something new appears and voices urging "buy now or lose out" drive people to pile into a specific asset. NISA is harder to stop because its driving force is fear of future insecurity rather than greed. There is also a risk that AI accelerates bubbles by outputting the same judgment to large numbers of people simultaneously.
