Symmetry Reduction, Orbit Structure, and Amplification Universality (SOA)
Abstract
Symmetry Reduction, Orbit Structure, and Amplification Universality (SOA) studies group-action models of structured systems and shows that symmetry reduction (orbit refinement) is the generative mechanism for nontrivial invariant observables and information. The paper defines a scaling/“amplification” exponent that quantifies distinguishability growth in scaling families, establishes bounds on that exponent, and proves a three-way universality classification of amplification behaviour. Results clarify when and how constraints and broken symmetry produce structure across mathematical, physical, and information-theoretic settings.
