Abstract

Modern oncology repeatedly demonstrates a structural paradox: measurable therapeutic response frequently occurs without durable system stabilization. This recurring pattern suggests limitations extending beyond pharmacological efficacy alone. This report formalizes oncology as a proof-domain for emergence governance under the Akarkach 7-Stage Emergence Model (A7SEM). Rather than proposing biological mechanisms or clinical interventions, the analysis interprets malignant disease as a complex adaptive state-transition system operating under observability, access, and durability constraints. The work demonstrates that durable stability in high-risk biological environments depends on verifiable transition legitimacy rather than intervention intensity alone. Oncology thereby functions as an extreme validation environment in which governance principles such as fail-closed interpretation, legitimacy before escalation, and verification-dependent authorization emerge naturally from biological system behavior. The publication is strictly non-operational and introduces no therapeutic recommendation. Its purpose is architectural: to establish cross-domain correspondence between biological systems and governance requirements previously identified in artificial intelligence and other irreversible infrastructures. Operational responsibility remains exclusively with qualified medical professionals and regulatory institutions. This publication forms part of the A7SEM Domain Translation Series and serves as a conceptual validation document demonstrating cross-domain emergence governance correspondence. No operational or clinical implementation is proposed.
