Time as the Primordial Foundation V: Standard Model
Abstract
PREFACE TO THE PENTALOGY Time as the Primordial Foundation: Standard Model This work is the culmination of years of research dedicated to restoring intuitive clarity to physics. The pentalogy Time as the Primordial Foundation is not merely a sequence of books, but a journey of radical deconstruction and subsequent reconstruction of the fundamental pillars of the universe. For centuries, physics has treated Time either as a passive parameter or as a geometric coordinate within a frozen four‑dimensional block. We have taken a bold step backward to move forward. We postulate that Time is a primary physical medium—the sole fundamental substrate from whose pulsations, nodes, and tensions everything we define as “reality” is woven. The Architecture of the Journey - Volume I: Philosophical Foundations. Here, the seeds of a new ontology were sown. We challenged “geometric determinism” and restored Time to its substantial status. - Volume II: Theory Architecture. The transition from idea to blueprint. The development of the first prototypes of Temporal Theory (TTG‑1 through TTG‑5) and the formulation of the laws of temporal transport. - Volume III: Mathematical Implementation. Rigorous formalism. Here, we taught Time to speak the language of modern mathematics, providing the theory with an apparatus capable of competing with the leading models of theoretical physics. - Volume IV: Quantum Gravity and Cosmology. The final chord of the tetralogy. Closing the circle. In this volume, we prove that quantum effects, inertia, gravitation, and the evolution of the Universe are merely different regimes of the same temporal hyperfield. - Volume V: The Standard Model — Spectral Synthesis of Matter. The ultimate chord and “ontological lockdown.” In this volume, we eliminate the last arbitrary parameters of modern physics. We prove that the particles of the Standard Model are not external objects but harmonic resonances of the temporal field. Masses, charges, and mixing angles are, for the first time in the history of physics, not postulated but calculated from the geometry of 5D nodes. Keywords: Spectral Synthesis, CKM Matrix Derivation, PMNS Matrix, Flavor Mixing, Overlap Integrals, Pt Stability, Phase Winding, Temporal Viscosity, Baryon Asymmetry, Zero‑Parameter Physics, 5D Vortex Ontology. Core Conclusion The world is not a “geometric box” into which matter is placed. Geometry itself is a dynamic pattern arising from the relaxation of the primordial temporal condensate. We have replaced mystical “dark energy” with a transparent physical process and the mathematical singularity of the Big Bang with a physical phase transition we call “The Big Start.” Lockdown: Physics on a New Foundation The completion of this work — the Lockdown — signifies that the circle is closed. From canonical 5D axioms to laboratory protocols for measuring temporal gradients, TTU now stands as a monolithic structure. It requires no unnecessary entities, no exotic particles, and no extra dimensions beyond what is essential. The Universe is a pulsating temporal medium. And now, we possess the mathematical map of its pulse. This pentalogy is dedicated to those who are not afraid to see in physics not only formulas but the profound harmony of being. Time is no longer a mystery hidden behind equations. It is the equation itself. Annotation. The fifth and concluding volume of the pentalogy Time as the Primordial Foundation presents the final “ontological lockdown”—the first complete derivation of Standard Model parameters from first principles in the history of physics. Developing the theory of the temporal condensate on the 5D manifold M₄ × S¹, laid out in the previous volumes, this work completes the transition from descriptive physics to a generative model of reality. Key achievement: Demonstration that the 30 empirical constants of the Standard Model are not accidental or finely tuned, but computable projections of only five fundamental characteristics of the temporal medium {χτ, R, δ², lP, Q₀}. Matter is no longer postulated as a set of particles but arises as spectral filtering—stable 5D vortices (temporal nodes) minimizing pressure Pt. Main mathematically rigorous results: - Topological origin of three generations: Using the Pohozaev identity it is proven within BI-EFT variational framework that localized vortex solutions exist only for winding indices n = 1, 2, 3. The fourth generation of fermions is topologically forbidden. - Geometric derivation of the fine‑structure constant: A dimensionless invariant expression is obtained, α = (5/3)(δ² R² lP³)⁻¹, yielding α⁻¹ ≈ 137 within the stability corridor [135, 140]. - Calculation of CKM and PMNS mixing angles: Mixing matrices are computed for the first time as overlap integrals of wave profiles in the compact dimension. The Cabibbo angle (θC ≈ 13°, |Vus| ≈ 0.222) is obtained with accuracy better than 1.5% from the ratio of localization radii Ls/Ld ≈ 0.5, dictated by medium nonlinearity. - CP violation and baryon asymmetry: CP violation is derived from anisotropy of conductivity for forward and backward time flows (τ⁺/τ⁻)—the “differential viscosity” of time. Matter asymmetry is explained as the result of natural selection of more stable vortices. - Spin 1/2 and charge: The spinorial nature of matter is justified by the topology of 4π phase closure, and charge quantization by uniqueness of phase traversal in S¹. Status and predictions: This volume completes the creation of a unified, ghost‑free, unitary theory combining gravity (Volume IV) and particle physics. The theory now enters the stage of experimental verification, offering falsifiable effects: the Temporal Chemical Shift (TCS), decay anisotropy, and high‑energy “spectral noise” near the saturation scale δ.
