Abstract

Neuroscience has moved beyond educated guesswork. We can now record brain activity, trace neuronal pathways, and test cause-and-effect relationships in living brains. This short article explains what today’s tools can genuinely measure, from single cells to whole-brain scans, and how the findings are beginning to connect. It also makes the limits clear, so you can distinguish solid brain-based evidence and speak about the brain with real confidence.
