Abstract
This article presents a systematic analysis of the medieval churches of Calatabiano (CT), based exclusively on primary documentary and archival sources. The research also documents flows of goods and tithes, relationships between the local church and monastic or feudal entities, and institutional continuity within both ecclesiastical and secular jurisdictions.Deductive elements, conjectures, or unverified family connections are excluded; all information is verifiable and supported by archival sources, transcriptions, or direct citations. The article provides a rigorous and scientific historical reconstruction, useful for studies in religious history, ecclesiastical topography, and institutional continuity in the Calatabiano territory during the medieval and late-medieval periods.
