Stretching the Cord of the Ogdoad: The 8-Points of the Merkhet
Abstract
This research presents a corrective analysis of the Egyptian Neter Seshat, redressing the historical frequency misattribution that conflates her navigational 8-point system with the lunar/protective 7-point cycle of Isis. Utilising the 47th Problem of Euclid as a primary diagnostic tool, this paper proves that a 7-pointed star is mathematically unstable for the 90-degree cross-axis required for precise temple alignment and stellar navigation. It establishes that the Merkhet-8 is not a symbolic 2D star, but a 3D navigational instrument tuned to the Sirius Gate and the Imperishable Northern Stars.
