Abstract

The Dhauladhar range of the Indian Himalayas is experiencing an intensification of extreme weather events. The Neugal Khad, a vital water source for Palampur, has shifted from a stable seasonal stream to an erratic hydrological regime. This report applies statistical reasoning to satellite-derived data to quantify this shift, bridging the gap between local observation and spatial evidence.
