Theoretical Assessment and Prospects of Accelerator-Based Power Generation via Mass-Velocity Energy Conversion
Abstract
This paper proposes a novel power generation method that directly converts the kinetic energy of a charged particle beam into electrical energy using induced electromotive force. We construct a physical model where the magnetic field depends on the flow of mass density, from which the fundamental equations for power generation are derived. Applying the pa- rameters of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), we estimate the theoretical power generation. Finally, we discuss the technical challenges and future prospects for scaling this system to the gigawatt (GW) level.
