Abstract

The paper presents an overview of theoretical information and experimental studies on the role of heavy and essential metals and their compounds involved in the biogeochemical system of plants. It also reviews works describing the significance of these elements and their impact on physiological and biochemical processes. The importance of these elements in inducing mechanisms of the internal physiological and biochemical system of plant resistance to stress and as activators of protection against harmful microbiota is shown. The monograph is intended for scientists, postgraduate students, students and specialists in plant growing, pathophysiology and phytoimmunity, ecology and biotechnology, and agronomists.
