Alle origini della civiltà nuragica. Nuovi dati planimetrici e un inedito pugnale dai recenti interventi sul Bruncu Maduli di Gesturi

Bruncu Maduli is located on the northeastern edge of the Gesturi Giara. The site comprises a settlement and a nuraghe with very archaic features, classified as a nuraghe a corridoio or protonuraghe. It is constructed of cyclopean blocks arranged in an apparently irregular manner. The interior consists of a corridor and three rooms. A recent intervention was carried out by the Superintendency in collaboration with the Gesturi Municipal Administration. This paper presents the new data recovered during this project. The investigation made it possible to reconstruct the layout of the internal spaces and to recover archaeological materials useful for dating the monument. Among the artifacts discovered, a bronze dagger is of particular interest, as its characteristics allow it to be attributed to the Middle Bronze Age.
