Abstract

Hyperuricemia is associated with kidney tissue fibrosis and impaired glomerular filtration. Elevated uric acid levels stimulate inflammation, oxidative stress, and fibrotic processes in the kidney, leading to progressive decline in renal function. Early detection and management are crucial to prevent chronic kidney disease and preserve organ function. Understanding this relationship provides important insights for developing preventive and therapeutic strategies.
