From Coinage to Corpus: Term Formation Principles, Adoption Dynamics, and Distribution Infrastructure for AI-Co-Created Neologisms — Toward Terminological Anchoring Theory Within the Neomanitai Framework
Abstract
This document establishes Terminological Anchoring Theory as the Level 2 component of the Neomanitai research architecture — the framework for understanding how AI-co-created neologisms move from initial coinage toward semantic stability across human and machine knowledge systems. It introduces six named concepts: Structural Machine Affinity, Recursive Embedding Proximity, Definitional Authority, Terminological Persistence Gradient, Anchoring Cascade, and Anchoring Reach. The document integrates literature from morphology, psycholinguistics, corpus linguistics, lexical diffusion, embedding-space semantics, and knowledge organization standards (SKOS, JSON-LD, Schema.org DefinedTerm). It proposes an eight-phase lifecycle model (Generatio, Descriptio, Fixatio, Expositio, Occursio, Selectio, Radicatio, Regressio) for tracking the trajectory of AI-co-created terminology. Part of the MANITAI research ecosystem (NEOMANITAI, AUGMANITAI, LEOMANITAI). Version 1.0. Priority registration.
