Abstract

Physical Pharmaceutics provides the scientific foundation for pharmaceutical formulation and drug delivery, bridging the principles of physical chemistry with the practical aspects of drug development and therapeutic performance. This book has been written with the objective of presenting core concepts such as solubility, dissolution, partitioning, interfacial phenomena, and solution behavior in a clear, structured, and application-oriented manner. Emphasis has been placed on conceptual understanding, logical progression of topics, and relevance to pharmaceutical practice, making the content suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students as well as for self-study. The subject matter has been organised to align with current academic curricula while also supporting the problem-solving and analytical thinking required for research formulation. It is hoped that this book will serve as a reliable learning resource and help build a strong conceptual foundation in Physical Pharmaceutics.
