Abstract

This working paper presents a unified philosophical framework grounded in a single foundational principle: nothing exists as a singular absolute. Existence is relational, requiring both a subject and an observer, defined non-anthropocentrically. From this commitment, the framework develops a coherent account of objective truth, the foundations of mathematics, the structure of physical reality, and the basis of moral obligation. Core contributions include: a treatment of objective truth as the mode of a power-law distribution of convergent truths across all possible observer-subject relations; a critique of the Axiom of Choice as ontologically incomplete under relational existence; an account of infinity as relative to its generating object rather than a universal absolute; an ontological grounding of the principle of least action as expressing the universe's intrinsic tendency toward stable self-actualization; and an ethics in which moral obligation scales with relational capacity, with no ceiling, and in which epistemic and moral obligations are identified as the same obligation viewed from two positions. The framework was arrived at through independent inquiry and makes contact with — without being derived from — Carlo Rovelli's relational quantum mechanics, John Wheeler's participatory universe, Alfred North Whitehead's process philosophy, Spinoza's dual-aspect monism, and constructivist mathematics. This is a first formal publication of the framework, offered for critique, engagement, and further development. Keywords: relational ontology, philosophy of physics, foundations of mathematics, principle of least action, Axiom of Choice, constructivism, process philosophy, metaethics, probabilistic truth, self-actualization
