An Empirical Analysis of Linguistic Variance Compression in Post-IPO Strategic Filings
Abstract
Tests the Cage framework's Proposition 1 by analyzing SEC filings from 25 companies across 75 filings. Measures lexical diversity and Shannon entropy in S-1 registration statements and subsequent 10-K filings across five analytical cohorts to test the variance compression thesis and its corollaries. **SUPERSEDED**: This paper has been absorbed into Paper 7 (The Cage).
