The lk- Morpheme Family as Constraint-Pole Signature in the Voynich Manuscript: Stars Text Localization and Elongation Structure
Abstract
Empirical characterization of the lk- prefix family (97 word types, 402 tokens) in the Voynich manuscript. The lk- morpheme is concentrated in the Stars_Text section (82.6% ZL, 83.9% Takahashi) and is structurally absent from the Astronomical section (0.5%). Chi-squared test confirms the concentration is non-random (χ²=540.30, df=4, p=1.29×10⁻¹¹⁵ vs baseline section distribution; Stars_Text enrichment 2.74x). Cross-transcription Jaccard similarity ZL↔Takahashi=0.8381. A directional pattern suggests that vowel elongation (lk+eee) correlates with higher Stars_Text exclusivity, with lk+eee subtype achieving 100% concentration (n=11 tokens). Findings are interpreted through the void framework's prediction that the V* constraint pole accumulates specification-complete notation.
