Abstract

This companion note to the Eigenfield Framework (Zenodo Record 18646417, v11) shows that gravitational null zones — saddle points where net gravitational acceleration vanishes — naturally produce a non-zero residual tidal curvature whose ground-state action equals Planck’s reduced constant ℏ. Using only the closed-form eigenvalue solutions (Eqs. 41–43 and 83–84), Frobenius-norm interference diagnostics (Eqs. 105–106), and torque/precession machinery (Eqs. 90–91) from the original paper, we prove that maximal destructive interference of the four alignment parameters floors the residual at exactly f_min = 1/2, independently of body count (N ≥ 2). Time-symmetric (retarded + advanced) propagation at c enforces this universal floor due to three-dimensional tensor frustration. The residual field drives eigen-precession whose minimum closed-orbit action evaluates to S = c⁵ / (16π G δλ_min). Identifying this geometric minimum with the quantum of action gives the explicit derivation: ℏ = c⁵ / (G · 16π δλ_min) Numerical simulation of the full retarded+advanced system confirms f_min = 0.5000 to machine precision. The work provides a concrete classical pathway from Newtonian multi-body tidal geometry to an emergent origin of quantum fluctuations, with the scale of ℏ anchored by the relativistic momentum of gravitating matter. This note is intended as a direct companion to the original Eigenfield Framework paper.
