Infinite Fractal Descent: Redefining the Strong Interaction and Spacetime Curvature through Scale-Invariant Logarithmic Geometry
Abstract
For nearly a century, the trajectory of theoretical physics has been strictly bifurcated by an intractable epistemological schism, fundamentally constraining our capacity to articulate a unified theory of the universe. On macroscopic scales, Albert Einstein’s General Relativity (GR) dictates the majestic dynamics of the cosmos, conceptualizing gravity not as a discrete force, but as the continuous, deterministic curvature of a four-dimensional spacetime manifold. Conversely, on microscopic scales, the Standard Model of particle physics relies entirely on the probabilistic frameworks of Quantum Mechanics (QM), treating fundamental forces as discrete, quantized exchanges of gauge bosons operating over a rigid, flat spacetime background. The profound philosophical and mathematical incompatibility between these two highly successful frameworks becomes catastrophic at the Planck scale. At this ultimate resolution limit, the immense mass-energy densities demanded by quantum fluctuations cause the continuous macroscopic spacetime equations of general relativity to mathematically collapse, yielding non-sensical infinites and inescapable physical singularities.
