MAHMUDKHOJA BEHBUDI HOUSE-MUSEUM: A LIVING CENTER OF JADID HERITAGE
Abstract
The Mahmudkhoja Behbudi House-Museum preserves the legacy of the influential Jadid figure. It showcases his life, educational, literary, and social contributions, as well as the cultural and historical context of late 19th–early 20th century Turkestan. The museum’s exhibits—manuscripts, books, personal items, and archival materials—highlight both the era and Behbudi’s intellectual spirit. It plays a key role in educating youth, fostering national awareness, and promoting Jadid ideals today.
