Paper Q v2.1: Executability, FCC Geometry, and Strong Coupling
Abstract
We derive the strong-coupling sector from the exact source–carrier architecture of Ontological Resolution Theory (ORT), with zero free parameters and without anthropic selection. The starting point is the exact source-side result established in Paper Zero: the unique normalized source-gap is g(r) = r(1 − r), the balance equation is r2 − 3r + 1 = 0, and its unique admissible root is r = (3 − √5)/2 = φ−2, where φ = (1 + √5)/2. At the carrier level, the geometric differential is δ = π − 3, and the source-side algebraic shadow of this differential, obtained via the Kepler bridge in Paper A, is δalg = (3/5)φ−3. A key result of the present paper is the executability criterion 0 < δ ≤ φ−1, which follows from the exact source-side unfolding polynomial. Within this criterion, the unique executable carrier dimension is d = 3. Together with the kissing-number theorem, this yields the unique maximal local carrier class L = LFCC, k = 12. The FCC void architecture then gives Ngluon = k − 4 = 8 tetrahedral gluon channels. Since the minimal strong interaction requires two string endpoints, the strong-sector quantity is αsORT = 2(k − 4) / Zgeom = 16 / 137.036045736 ≈ 0.11676, where Zgeom = π4 + 4π2 + (π − 3) + 1/144 is the carrier-side fine-structure quantity from Paper A. This is compared with the benchmark αs(MZ) = 0.1179 ± 0.0009. The paper therefore establishes the chain: source uniqueness → executability → unique FCC carrier → void-channel count → αs. A direct consequence is that anthropic selection becomes unnecessary within the present class: formal multiplicity of vacua does not imply multiplicity of executable realities.
