THE IMPACT OF PUBLIC DEBT ON ECONOMIC STABILITY
Abstract
The impact of public debt on economic stability is considered one of the key areas of modern macroeconomic research. Public debt is primarily formed to finance budget deficits, stimulate economic growth, fulfill social obligations, and implement strategic projects. However, the size, structure, and effectiveness of public debt management exert both direct and indirect influences on economic stability. Therefore, an in-depth analysis of the factors shaping public debt, its internal and external composition, and the impact of the debt burden on key macroeconomic indicators remains a highly relevant issue.
