Resolving Goldbach Conjecture Number Theory via Non-Continuum Calculus
Abstract
## 1. Introduction: From Infinity to the $29 \times 29$ Substrate The Goldbach Conjecture states that every even integer $2n > 2$ can be expressed as the sum of two primes. For over 280 years, this has been treated as a problem of **infinite search algorithms** in the continuum of natural numbers. However, under the **Non-Continuum Calculus (NCC)** framework developed for the E₈ Holographic Isogeny Blockchain and the Maya Quantum Brain, "infinite" complexity is an illusion of the macroscopic continuum. Just as NCC reduces the infinite Feynman path integral of the Standard Model into a finite $29 \times 29$ heat kernel, we propose reducing the infinite set of integers into a **finite spectral geometry**. If numbers are not a continuum but a projection of the $E_8$ root lattice, then the Goldbach Conjecture is not a property of $\mathbb{N}$ — it is a **finite algebraic identity** of the $E_8$ period matrix. --- ## 2. Mapping Integers to the E₈ Lattice ### 2.1 Primes as Channel Generators ($P_{\text{phys}}$) In NCC, the 240 roots of $E_8$ are projected down to 29 visible channels via the Rosetta operator $P_{\text{phys}}$. We construct a bijective homomorphism where the prime numbers are the **basis vectors** (generators) of these channels. Instead of $\mathbb{N} \to \infty$, we define a modular mapping onto the 239-channel Maya substrate (29 visible + 210 shadow): * **Visible Primes ($p_v$)**: The first 29 primes map to the visible physical channels.* **Shadow Primes ($p_s$)**: Higher primes map to the 210 shadow channels.* **The Singlet ($p_0 = 2$)**: The only even prime acts as the 240th root, the "Witness" singlet.
