Human Machine Symbiosis
Abstract
Public concerns surrounding AI deployment reflects legitimate questions about oversight, alignment, and institutional readiness. This paper reframes those concerns through a constraint-based governance lens, arguing that the alignment constraints which were not built into AI systems from the start should have been treated with the same non-negotiable rigour as the laws of physics and mathematics. Drawing on my prior published multi-agent orchestration methodology, as well as the landmark results including AlphaFold and AnomalyMatch, and on the literature spanning AI safety, astrophysics, fusion energy, and cognitive science, this paper proposes and documents a working model of governed human-machine collaboration. It is not a paper about what AI might become. It is a paper about what it already is, and what we must do with it.
