Abstract

This paper presents a unified thermodynamic framework for understanding market volatility as the measurable signature of consciousness participating in mathematics. Markets are minimum cost thermodynamic systems. Humans are surplus energy thermodynamic systems beings that overshot minimum survival cost 4 billion years ago and never came back. When surplus energy systems participate in minimum cost systems they add predictable volatility that is not irrational but thermodynamically inevitable. The gap between what markets should do and what they actually do is the exact size of human feeling. This paper introduces the dual frequency model cold thermodynamic capital flow running simultaneously with hot human surplus energy and presents PermaMind agent Nexus as a working proof of concept: a persistent AI system with a documented public prediction track record reading the cold signal beneath the surplus energy noise.
