Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of technological tools in learning Integral Calculus, focusing on the role of technology for students, the topics developed, and the visualization aspects in instruction. The method employed was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the PRISMA protocol, which includes four stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Article searches were conducted through the Google Scholar database for the publication period of 2018 to 2025. A total of 100 articles were initially identified, and after a rigorous selection process, only 5 articles met the criteria for further analysis. The findings reveal that the integration of technology, particularly the GeoGebra application, in Integral Calculus learning remains very limited. Most studies utilized GeoGebra for visualizing concepts such as the area under curves, volume of revolution, and definite integrals. The role of technology was found to be significant in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding, providing interactive visual representations, and supporting independent learning. However, the low number of relevant studies indicates a gap in the literature and suggests the need for further research and development in technology-assisted learning for Integral Calculus. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on educational technology and offers recommendations for educators and researchers to optimize the use of GeoGebra and similar tools in mathematics education.
