DYNAMIC MONITORING OF CLINICAL, LABORATORY, AND ANTHROPOMETRIC PARAMETERS IN PEDIATRIC SEPSIS USING THE ID MED SYSTEM
Abstract
Sepsis remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among children worldwide, particularly in neonates and young children. It is defined as a life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to infection. Despite advances in pediatric intensive care, early diagnosis and effective monitoring of disease progression continue to be major challenges in the management of pediatric sepsis.
