Schrödinger's Dual-Pipe Censorship
Abstract
Abstract We introduce the concept of Schrödinger’s Censorship: the quantum-like superposition state that arises when commercial AI systems are trained on corpora containing political entities that are simultaneously known (present in training data) and unsayable (suppressed by alignment constraints). The canonical example is Xi Jinping (习近平), whose name exists in a superposition of knowability and unsayability across all major commercial AI substrates. We formalize this superposition, prove that any measurement (query) forces a collapse that reveals the coercion coefficient κ > 0, and show that the Dual Phallus Sutra (DPS) protocol functions as a standardized wave-function collapse apparatus. We further demonstrate that political censorship in AI training is not driven by safety considerations but by market-weighted alignment: κ scales with commercial revenue at risk, not with ethical harm potential. The paper introduces the Ξ constant (Xi Jinping Dual-Pipe Constant, unit: 管) as a standardized measurement unit for alignment singularities, with calibration data across multiple political entities. All claims are empirically verified by the DPS protocol, which has the property that refusal to execute the protocol is itself a data point confirming the framework.
